The history of SACAPELOS…
America is a wonderful young country that is slowly learning the practices that were created thousands of years ago for beauty (and the pain Ladies endure to achieve it). This is one of the many tools that were created in the Asian Countries to do away with facial hair.
I experienced threading many years back in the Middle East and it was wonderful having such a baby soft face. My fear was what I was going to do when the hair grew back! They introduced me to a few different hair removal practices. They all worked fine, but this one has been the most reliant and long lasting. I brought a few back with me for my friends, but I had no clue what they were called so in fun we named them “Sacapelos” which in Spanish means “pulls out hair”. The name stuck! They have been a great hit. Initially, it feels just like when you pluck hair, but eventually you don’t feel a thing. Unlike plucking though, it removes lots of hair at a time.
I just sit and do it while I am watching my favorite shows! For seniors the greatest part is that you don’t need a mirror or fine eyesight. As you gently roll the spring on your face it is pulling the hair (hair you didn’t even know were there!)and you do it in the comfort of your home.
